Tom has more than 25 years of experience in the business events and sports travel sectors. As Commercial Director at Manchester Central Tom played a key part in identifying, creating, and developing commercial opportunities to support profitable growth, leading the sales function across multiple sites. Tom was responsible for developing and executing the long-term strategic business plans for the venue ensuring it maintained its reputation as one of the country’s leading event spaces in one of the UK’s most vibrant cities.

Prior to this, Tom held senior positions at numerous sports travel brands within the TUI Travel portfolio, delivering commercial success through strategic partnerships with world-leading sports events.

Tom is passionate about developing talent and fostering industry relationships and throughout his career, he has led sales and marketing teams, developed, and implemented business strategies, and overseen financial performance, ensuring the continued success and reputation of the brands he’s worked with.
