Laura Tavernor
Laura has over 16 years of proven success in strategic marketing, event management, and business development. Laura has driven B2B lead generation and conversion through complex marketing and communications strategies and campaign plans during her career. She has project managed event delivery and sponsorship activation at exhibitions, conferences, country pavilions, trade delegations, awards ceremonies, and cross-continent road shows, amongst other event formats, in more than 30 countries. Her most recent position was Associate Vice President, Marketing and Communications at dmg events, a large-scale exhibition and conference organiser, having led the marketing teams on the organisers flagship shows, she went on to develop and implement best practice across the business; training and mentoring the heads of marketing; and specialising in strategy, PR and communications, and data. Laura is currently a Marketing Consultant, using her past experience in the exhibitions and events industry to assist companies with their marketing and event's development and growth strategies. She is also a board member of Women in Exhibitions, UK Chapter.
